India earns less for its higher spices exports in August

WHILE India may have shipped out more spices in August than a year before, it is getting lower returns for the consignments. India exported 34,025 tonnes of spices in the month, a 3.5% increase from 32,880 tonnes a year before, according to the Indian Spices Board.
